SayGM vs Requesty: Hosted LLM Routers Compared

Both route many models through one key. Requesty leads on analytics and guardrails. SayGM leads on price and verifiable privacy.

Updated 9 Oct 2026 · 5 min read · First published 7 Oct 2026

Summary

  • Requesty adds a platform fee to provider prices. SayGM charges no fee and prices below list on most frontier models.
  • Requesty offers dashboards, spend controls and PII redaction.
  • SayGM offers PII replacement plus a TEE that keeps the gateway from reading traffic.
  • Both catalogues are far smaller than OpenRouter's.

02

Fees and pricing

Requesty charges a platform fee on top of provider prices, so its effective rate sits above list. SayGM starts below list. Any fee on top of list widens the gap shown here.

SayGM price relative to provider list, per token.
ModelList, input / outputSayGM, input / outputSayGM vs list
Claude Sonnet 5$2.00 / $10.00$1.78 / $8.8911% lower
GPT-5.5$5.00 / $30.00$3.75 / $22.5025% lower
Gemini 3.1 Pro Preview$2.00 / $12.00$1.40 / $8.4030% lower

For high-volume Claude or GPT usage the difference is material. On GPT-5.5 at 50M input and 15M output tokens a month, list price is $700 and SayGM is $525, before Requesty's fee is added.

03

Privacy

Requesty offers data policies and PII redaction. SayGM replaces personal data before a prompt leaves the gateway and restores it in the reply. It also runs the gateway in a trusted execution environment, so operators cannot read traffic.

The private inference explainer covers what a TEE does and does not protect.

04

Catalogue and routing

Both list far fewer models than OpenRouter. SayGM's catalogue is curated around current frontier models and confidential open-weight options. SayGM adds cascade models that fall back on failure and fusion models that combine several models in one call.

05

Which to choose

  • Requesty if reporting, spend controls and guardrails are the priority and list-plus-fee pricing is acceptable.
  • SayGM if per-token price and verifiable privacy are the priority.
  • OpenRouter if you need the widest catalogue. See OpenRouter alternatives for the full field.
